Most of what you pay for a ceramic coating is the paint prep, not the coating itself. Yes. We install to Victorian VLT rules, so the front side windows let at least 35% of light through and the rears can go darker. The rear glass on a CX-5 or CX-30 is steeply curved, so the film is heat shrunk to the shape of the glass before it goes anywhere near the car.
