Window Tinting in Mitcham

Heat and UV rejecting window tint fitted at our Bayswater North studio, a short drive from Mitcham. A clean factory look, kept road legal.

If you are in Mitcham and want your windows tinted properly, our studio is a short drive east along Canterbury Road in Bayswater North. Good tint does more than darken the glass. A quality film cuts the heat coming through the windows, blocks most of the UV that fades your dash and seats, and takes the glare out of the drive, all while giving the car a clean, even, factory-style finish.

We fit premium self-healing and ceramic films from quality brands, and as the new home of Premium Car Detailing Ringwood we have looked after more than 3,000 cars across Melbourne's east. We fit in a controlled space so there is no dust or dirt caught under the film. Tell Henry, our owner, what you drive and what you are after, and he will quote honestly with no pressure. If you want to understand the pricing first, our Melbourne window tint cost guide sets out what drives the figure, and our guide to Victoria's legal tint limits explains what is road legal.

Why tint

What good window tint gives you

Heat and UV rejection

A cooler cabin and far less UV reaching your dash, seats and skin.

A clean factory look

An even, dark finish fitted without bubbles, and no purple fade down the track.

Kept road legal

Fitted to Victorian VLT rules so the car stays legal and roadworthy.

How we fit your tint

We talk through what you want first, then match the film to it. The glass is cleaned and decontaminated, the film is cut and fitted in a controlled space so nothing is caught underneath, and the car is left to cure before you drive off. It is careful work, and doing it in the studio rather than out in the open is the difference between tint that looks factory and tint that bubbles. We fit to Victorian VLT rules so the car stays road legal.

Cost-effective, not cut corners

FAQ

Mitcham window tint questions

How much does window tinting cost in Mitcham?

Most cars land between a few hundred dollars for a quality film across the car and more for a premium ceramic tint, depending on how many windows and the film you choose. We quote your exact car honestly. Our Melbourne window tint cost guide explains what drives the figure.

Where do you tint the car if I am in Mitcham?

At our studio in Bayswater North, a short drive from Mitcham along Canterbury Road. Tint is fitted in a clean, controlled space so there is no dust caught under the film, then left to cure before you drive off.

Is your window tint legal in Mitcham?

Yes. We fit to Victorian VLT rules, which means at least 35 percent light transmission on the front side windows for most cars, so your car stays road legal. Our guide to Victoria's legal tint limits covers the detail.

How long does window tinting take?

Most cars are a few hours depending on how many windows. We let the film cure properly and give you simple aftercare advice, mainly leaving the windows up for a couple of days while it sets.

Can you remove old or bubbling tint?

Yes. We strip old, bubbled or purple tint and re-fit fresh film so the car looks factory again. Tell us what is on there now and we will quote the removal and the new tint together.
